North Vietnam NVA Vietnam National Front Flag Security Force Unit 1960. Vietnam National Front for the liberation of South Vietnam, Armed Forces of the tay ninh province, Security Force Unit T-4. Red background with yellow fringe. Size approximately 43 inches x 29 inches. Worn condition with a couple spots of staining.
Additional Notes: These type NVA flags were made during the early stages of the Vietnam War (early to mid 1960s) to commemorate the victories of a particular unit. Flags of this style were usually hand made in different regions but patterned after the same general design, which is why you will not typically find two that are made identically with consistent dimensions.
