WW2 Japanese Army Helmet Shell . NNJ445

Japanese WW2 Type 90 Army Combat Helmet Shell. Helmet shell has most of it’s exterior olive brown combat paint worn away and it appears the helmet was stored in some type of garage, attic, or shed with a lot of heavy exposure to elements causing a lot of surface corrosion and rust. The metal Japanese Army star is still tightly affixed to the front of the helmet. Missing the interior leather liner however still has portion of the cloth strap and the mounting hardware is still in interior. Overall, in very heavily worn condition helmet shell.
