United States Navy Seal Trident Badge with Miniature. Clutch back. Back of badge marked Antaya A26 (followed by the backwards “N”). These backward “N” marked badges are believed to be Vietnam era (early 1970s). Size of large badge approximately 2 3/4 inches x 1 1/2 inches. Worn condition.

Authentic Vietnam war, 1970’s U.S. Navy Seal uniform insignia were made by the famous maker, “Antaya Brothers” of Massachusetts with their Vietnam War period “A26” makers mark. There’s also the tell-tale backwards “N” specific to navy/seal badges in the 70’s by companies like Denmarks, Antaya, Vangaurd, and N.S. Meyer. First-pattern originals where also typically noted as well by the scalloped back.
