WW2 United States USMC “Ka-Bar” Combat Knife. The knife is marked on one side of the blade ricasso with USMC and on the other side with Ka-Bar. This knife is from the group of USMC Ka-Bar knives with the “USMC” marked blade. The knife is a 6th generation with the rectangular peen pommel. Excellent condition stacked leather handle. Very nice condition blade with dark parkerized finish. The handle and blade are nice and tight. Approximately 7-inch blade. The knife has proper USMC Boyt 43 sheath, the USMC Boyt 43 with the Ka-Bar USMC is a very desirable combination. Overall, an excellent condition USMC combat fighting knife in a condition that is almost impossible to find with the proper worn condition Boyt 43 sheath which is correct for 6th gen USMC Ka-bars.

Ka-Bar made two groups of USMC fighting knifes during ww2. The first group of knives were stamped “USMC” on the blade ricasso. The second group did not have the “USMC” stamping on the blade. Ka-Bar made 10 variations of the first group of “USMC” marked combat knives during ww2.
