US KABAR Knife Vietnam Era . DWU1088

United States Kabar Knife and Sheath. Five-inch bright finished steel blade, with a simple steel guard, stacked leather grip with color spacers on each end and aluminum-alloy pommel. Tan leather type sheath in good condition and marked: Genuine Kabar Leather. Marked Kabar on blade ricasso. I believe this is a pre-1967 knife and it would have been a private purchase piece.  Overall, blade in decent condition with some scratches and wear to one side of the blade, most likely from sharpening.
