WW2 German HJ Knife w/Motto – Henkels . D2093

WW2 German HJ Knife with Motto. Marker marked with the logo for J.A. Henkels Solingen on one side of the blade. On the other side of the blade is the acid etched with the “Blut und Ehre!” motto, which is fairly decently visible on this one, typically, it is difficult to make out the very lightly etched mottos on early HJ daggers. No leather buffer pad. Grip and HJ insert diamond in decent condition. Scabbard paint has wear, however, still in decent condition as well, however, the leather strap is very heavily worn condition with damage (missing top cross button strap and one rivet is loose that attaches the strap to the scabbard, so the strap moves). Overall, a nice early HJ knife with motto.
