Italian Flagpole Top – WW2 . WM453

Italian House of Savoy Flagpole Top. Appears to be gilding over a bronze-brass type base material. Size approximately 4 1/2 inches x 11 1/2 inches. Most likely 1930s-1940s (ww2) era. Worn condition.

Additional Notes: The House of Savoy was a royal dynasty which ruled the Kingdom of Italy until 1946. The last monarch reigned briefly right before the institutional referendum of 1946, after which the Italian Republic was proclaimed.
