United States Army Lieutenant Rank Insignia Group. Group has pair of nice bullion Lieutenant insignia and pair of metal lieutenant rank insignia which are pin back and marked Shold-R-Form with Meyer Metal and Meyer raised shield logo. Also, has pair of leather-based gold foil type insignia as well sometime seen on applied to flight jackets. 1940s-1950s era. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The rank insignia for a second lieutenant in the United States Army is a gold bar. In most English-speaking and Arabic-speaking countries, as well as a number of European and South American nations, second lieutenants usually wear one star (pip).
