United States Army Air Forces (AAF) Far East Forces Bullion Patch. Nice bullion work with a great look to this patch. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The US Far East Air Forces (FEAF) played a pivotal role in the Pacific Theater during WW2 as part of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF). Initial role was the air defense of the Philippines, including personnel from the Philippine Army Air Corps. FEAF was heavily outnumbered and suffered devastating losses during the Japanese invasion of the Philippines. By February of 1942, it was redesignated as the Fifth Air Force, with surviving aircraft and personnel relocated to Australia.
