United States Air Force (USAF) Brigadier General Flight Suit. U.S. General stars on each shoulder area with vinyl covering on top. Leather insignia with image of command pilot wings also with vinyl type covering. Military Airlift Command patch on other side of the front of the flight suit. Tag is marked: Coveralls, Flyings, Man’s, Very Light K-2B, Medium Regular July 1965. Unfortunately, there is no name or identification on this one as to which Brigadier General. Zippers work fine. Vietnam era. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The K-2B Flying Man’s Very Light Coveralls were standard issue for U.S. Air Force pilots during the Vietnam War era. Made from lightweight cotton twill, they were designed for comfort and mobility in warmer climates.
