United States Army Khaki Tie. Would be nice to complete and Army tunic display. Most likely 1940s-1950s (WW2-Korea) era. Initial marks on interior “FR”. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The United States Army khaki tie from WW2 was a regulation accessory worn as part of the summer uniform by both enlisted men and officers. Part of the Khaki cotton uniform, the khaki tie complemented the khaki cotton service uniform, which was widely issued during the early years of WW2 for garrison, field, and even combat use before being phased out of combat roles. It was primarily worn with the summer uniform, especially in warmer climates or during ceremonial duties.
