Additional Notes: The Type B-14 Enlisted Men’s Flight Jacket was a unique piece of U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF) attire, standardized in March of 1944 for enlisted aircrewmen. It was essentially an early version of the Ike jacket, made from olive drab wool (Shade No.54) and featuring concealed breast pockets with exposed flaps and midriff slash pockets. These jackets are rare to find, making them highly sought after.
