United States Navy Khaki (Tan) Officer Uniform. No shoulder boards or insignia on jacket. One button loose and needs to be re-attached, button in pocket. Tailor label on interior marked: Boston Uniform of Newport, Boston, Mass. Most likely 1950s-1960s era. Worn condition with loose button.
Additional Notes: The United States Navy Officer’s Khaki (Tan) Work Uniform was made in cotton khaki and generally worn in warm to tropical conditions. The jacket has a 3-button front closure, was typically unlined, and could be belted mid-section and has large, expanding bellows lower pockets. There are also a series of loops on the shoulders for attaching officer’s rank shoulder boards.
