$20.00

United States Army Field Wool Trousers (Pants). Button-fly front. Q.M. Depot contract tag marked: Trousers, Field, Wool, Serge, W36 L31, and contract dated 1944/45. 1940s (ww2) era. Worn condition with staining and scattered moth damage.

Additional Notes: The United States Army field wool trousers from WW2 were a staple of the standard-issue uniform, designed for both durability and functionality in combat and service settings. Made from wool serge cloth, typically in olive drab shades (OD 32 or OD 33), which offered warmth and resilience. Early versions (pre-1942) had a slim, dress-like fit. Later models were redesigned with a higher rise and fuller seat and thighs to improve mobility for squatting, crawling, and running.
