WW2 US Army Officer Jeep Coat . UA1207

$70.00

United States Army Mackinaw Winter “Jeep” Jacket. Named and numbered on interior back of jacket. No contract or marker tags that I could find on this one. Still has belt as well. Most likely 1940s-1950s era. Very heavily worn, stained, and used condition.

Additional Notes: The Mackinaw coat is often called the “Jeep” coat as it was a popular item worn by Officers and drivers of jeeps, due to its extra warmth over the M41 jacket. The jeep coat is longer than the M41 and Tankers jackets which are waist length jackets, the Jeep coat goes down to about mid-thigh length.
