$1,200.00

WW2 German Army Infantry Officer Waffenrock (M35 Dress Tunic). Eight button front. Hauptmann Officer Infantry shoulder boards with gilt regimental cyphers on boards “9”. Army Infantry Officer collar tabs. Army Officer bullion tunic eagle on front that is hand stitched applied. Three sets of award loops on front of tunic and one ribbon bar or combat clasp set of loops. Small ink stamp on inner lower corner of tunic. Worn condition with scattered moth nips.

Additional Notes: The WW2 Wehrmacht form of the Waffenrock was issued in 1935, it was a formfitting thigh-length eight button tunic of fine feldgrau wool, without any external pockets. The collar was taller than the service tunic and bore more elaborate Litzen, embroidered all in silver-white and mounted on Waffenfarbe backing; smaller Ärmelpatten, similar in appearance to Litzen, appeared under the buttons on the dark-green Swedish cuffs. Waffenfarbe piping also edged the collar, cuffs, front closure, and scalloped rear vent.
