WW2 German Army Infantry NCO Waffenrock (M35 Dress Tunic). Eight button front, one set of award loops on front. Unteroffizier’s Infantry shoulder boards with chain stitched unit numbers “107”. Also, infantry collar tabs. Flat-wire EM/NCO tunic eagle on front. Some scattered moth nips and old repair/patch under armpit area, overall, decent condition and displays well.
Additional Notes: The WW2 Wehrmacht form of the Waffenrock was issued in 1935, it was a formfitting thigh-length eight button tunic of fine feldgrau wool, without any external pockets. The collar was taller than the service tunic and bore more elaborate Litzen, embroidered all in silver-white and mounted on Waffenfarbe backing; smaller Ärmelpatten, similar in appearance to Litzen, appeared under the buttons on the dark-green Swedish cuffs. Waffenfarbe piping also edged the collar, cuffs, front closure, and scalloped rear vent.
