WW2 German Police Officer Sword – Krebs Double SS Proof . SG190

WW2 German Municipal Police Officer Sword (Degen). Sword is SS proof marked both under the crossguard and on the scabbard throat. Maker marked with the logo for Krebs Solingen on the blade ricasso. The sword blade measures approximately 29 3/4  inches. The entire degen in the scabbard measures approximately 35 1/2 inches long from top of the handle to the bottom of scabbard. This is a straight sword, a single-sided blade. The degen is in good shape. Sharp point and blade are good with some wear and graying. The eagle on the handle is in nice shape with some wear to the grip with good details showing. All original paint on the scabbard with a bit of wear and scuffs. Nice details on the scabbard as well. Original leather buffer pad piece is still in place. All original hardware. Fits nicely into the scabbard. Overall, a good-looking double SS proof marked police sword.
