SOLD Japanese Army Officer Sword Handle . NNJ451

Japanese Army Officer Sword (Shin Gunto) Tsuka (handle). The brown Ito (cloth binding) is loose at bottom. Has the Kabuto-gune (hilt buttcap) and metal loop. Missing Fuchi (hilt collar). Most likely 1930s-1940s. Overall length approximately 10 1/2 inches. Very worn condition with wrap coming loose, could be used for parts or restoration project.
