WW2 Japanese NCO Sword – Matching #s . NNJ439

Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) Type 95 NCO Shin Gunto. Matching numbers “88677” on blade and scabbard. NCO aluminum tsuka (handle) that has a good portion of the paint still on the handle. Machine made blade is decent condition with the heaviest wear near the tip of the blade. Scabbard in decent condition with a lot of wear. Variation #2 with basic tsuba. Blade length approximately 27 1/2 inches. Overall length approximately 36 inches. Overall, worn condition, especially at blade tip.
