Imperial German Prussian Order of the Red Eagle Medal. 4th Class. Medal in silver with a handpainted red eagle on a white disc. Nice long original ribbon. Marker marked on bottom appears to be a “W”. Worn condition.

 

Additional Notes: The Prussian Order of the Red Eagle was a prestigious order of chivalry in the Kingdom of Prussia, awarded for military and civil merit. The Fourth Class was introduced in 1830 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III and was typically given to junior officers and civilians of equivalent rank. It was part of a broader system of honors that recognized valor, leadership, and long service.
