Imperial German War Veterans League badge with 25 year merit cross attached. The War Veteran’s League badge has the inscription of “Deutscher Krieger Bund” or “German Warrior League”. The 25 year attached Merit Cross has on front cross arms “Verein Kriger Olpe” with 25 number in center. On back arms of the merit cross is “Fur Treue Im Verein” or “For Loyalty in the Club”. Basically, the WW1 Veteran League membership badges had typically attached their local membership or long service crosses attached to them. This one has the Veteran’s League badge with the 25 year Merit cross attached below.
