United States (U.S.) Navy Gray Garrison Cap. Named on interior of cap “D. Wallace”. Most likely 1940s-1950s (WW2-Korea) era. No size tag I could fine, however, approximately measures about 11 1/4 inches in length. Heavily worn, stained, and used condition.
Additional Notes: During WW2 Navy garrison caps were produced in all of the standard uniform colors including dark blue, khaki (tropical tan), forest green, gray, and white. There were also many variations in fabrics. For example, garrison caps for the working khaki and gray uniforms were made in both cotton and wool.
