US M1 Helmet Shell 82nd Airborne Double Decal . HU1139

United States Army M1 Combat helmet shell that has 82nd Airborne decals on each side of helmet. Rear seam swivel bale helmet shell.  Dent/hit to top of helmet. It is very hard to find these double decal 82nd Airborne helmets. This one does not have a liner. Paint has a lot of wear and there is a lot of wear to the 82nd Airborne decals as well. Heat stamp on the inner shell area appears to be 1196D. This is a 1950s (Korea) war era helmet shell. This came out of a local estate along with a U.S. M1 front seam named and numbered paratrooper helmet and US blade marked and dated M3 fighting knife with cut down leather sheath. A great very hard to find out of the woodwork untouched piece.
