WW2 German M35 Afrika Corps Luftwaffe Helmet . HG1523

WW2 German Luftwaffe M35 Afrika Corps Combat Helmet named with shrapnel damage. Helmet is size and marker marked Q64 (Quist medium size). I cannot make out the Lot/production number. Helmet had nice Afrika Corps camo, nice dark-pink tan color DAK camouflage overpaint on top of the Luftwaffe feldgrau. The name and rank of captain is inscribed on interior rim of helmet. There is an oblong shrapnel strike to lower right rear of the helmet. The liner is heavily worn and still has the chinstrap as well. Comes with certificate from Kelly Hicks who wrote several WW2 German Helmet books.
