Helmet w/WW2 German Luftschutz Insignia applied Post-War . HG1520

I believe this helmet is a ww2 captured helmet with ww2 German Luftschutz (Air Raid) Insignia re-applied post-war. These captured helmets were many times re-painted and had the Luftschutz (Air Raid) insignia applied for local Air Raid support. However, I believe this helmet has had the Luftschutz insignia applied or re-applied post war (you can see where the front was cleaned, maybe damaged insignia removed, and then looks like this insignia re-applied). Interesting looking helmet, however, I think the insignia is later applied. Worn condition.
