WW2 German Army General Assault Badge (GAB). Zinc base badge. Steel based (magnetic pin). Marker marked on the back F.O. for Friedrich Orth. This one has an unusual black finish to the front that appears to be original to the badge. Also, there are several areas of corrosion damage to the front as well. Overall, a very worn condition General Assault badge missing catch.
