United States Trench Art Lamp. Most likely 1940s-1950s (ww2-Korea) era. It appears this does function, however, I do not guarantee functionality, selling as a display piece. No lamp shade. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: Trench art refers to decorative items made by soldiers, prisoners of war, or civilians using materials linked to armed conflict. In the U.S. military, trench art has been crafted from spent shell casings, bullet fragments, aircraft parts, and other battlefield remnants. During WW1 and WW2, soldiers often transformed discarded war materials into vases, ashtrays, knives, and sculptures. Some pieces were made for personal use or souvenirs, while others were traded for food or money by prisoners of war.
