South Viet-Nam Military Souvenir Pillowcase. Black and Royal purple background with yellow fringe. Size approximately 16 inches X 16 inches. Most likely 1960s-1970s era. Worn condition.

They were intended as GI souvenirs for gifts to Mothers, Fathers, Wives, and Sweethearts. These small pillowcases are usually made of a type of rayon or satin. They are typically designed with fringe on all four sides. They usually open on the bottom or back but do not have buttons or zippers to close them. The insert space on most of these are roughly 16 inches x 16 inches.
