US Army Sharpshooter Qualification Badge w/2 Bars . FLU3566

United States Army Sharpshooter Qualification Badge with 2 bars. Bars include Coast Art’y and Machine Gun. One bar loop loose and need to be re-connected. Pin back. Sterling marked on back of badge, however, not marked on bars. Most likely 1940s-1950s (WW2-Korea) era. Worn condition.

Additional Notes: The U.S. Army Qualification badges were awarded in three grades: Marksman, Sharpshooter, and Expert. The Army Weapons Qualification Badge is issued to soldiers upon completion of a weapons qualification course. Suspended from the badge are qualification bars that indicate the specific weapon(s) in which the soldier has qualified. Only three marksmanship badges are authorized for wear at one time.
