United States Army Expert Qualification Badge with Pistol Bar. Clutch back. 1/20 Silver Filled Krew G-I marked on back of badge and bar is marked N.S. Meyer Inc New York 22M. Most likely 1960s-1970s (Vietnam) era. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The U.S. Army Qualification badges were awarded in three grades: Marksman, Sharpshooter, and Expert. The Army Weapons Qualification Badge is issued to soldiers upon completion of a weapons qualification course. Suspended from the badge are qualification bars that indicate the specific weapon(s) in which the soldier has qualified. Only three marksmanship badges are authorized for wear at one time.
