U.S. Army General’s Full-Dress Belt. Circa 1880-1890s. This is an officers General Level full dress belt is marker marked by M.C. Lilly, Columbus, Ohio. This design of heavy bullion belt was only made for Generals and are why they are very hard to come by. Nice red Moroccan leather with gold bullion on the belt which is in good condition with the exception of a few areas of where there is some fraying to the bullion. The sword hangers have snap hooks. A very hard to find item from the Indian Wars – Spanish American War era.
