United States Air Force (USAF) GUU-1/P Holster with Swivel attachment and assembly pouch. Marker marked J.M. Bucheimer and dated on back 1964. Vietnam era holster. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The GUU-1/P holster is a Vietnam War-era U.S. Air Force issue designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson Model 15 Combat Masterpiece revolver, a .38 Special with a 4-inch barrel. These holsters were typically made of black leather and featured a swivel tab and securing strap, allowing them to be worn either on a belt or as part of a shoulder rig favored by aircrew and security personnel. Manufacturer was J.M. Bucheimer Co. and the year of manufacture was commonly dated around 1963–1966. This was used by the Air Police, Security Police, pilots, and other aircrew.
