United States Navy Robeson Shuredge Mark I knife. Marked U.S.N. on one side of blade ricasso and marked Robeson Shuredge No. 20 on other side. Blade length measures approximately 4 3/4 inches, appears to be shorten a bit. Very rough and damaged condition with pommel area wrapped around with electrical tape probably to cover heavy damage. The leather sheath with a lot of heavy wear and snap cross strap broken as well.

 

Additional Notes: The Robeson Shuredge No. 20 is a vintage WW2 US Navy knife known for its unique wood pommel design. It was used as both a utility and fighting weapon during WW2, primarily for everyday functions aboard ship and ashore. The knife features a clip-point blade measuring 5 1/8 inches with an overall length of 9 5/8 inches, and it is marked with “U.S.N.” on one side and “ROBESON ShurEdge No. 20” on the reverse.
