US M1918 Trench Knife LF&C . DWU1118

United States M1918 Trench Knife. Darkened brass handle US M-1918 (Mark I) Trench knife by LF&C (Landers, Frary & Clark) with scabbard, however, both the hooks are gone on scabbard (quite common for these to break). The handle also has numbers on the other side that I believe was to attribute to soldier (first letter of last name and 4 numbers of the service id (military type laundry numbers, that is nice and not something you see very often on these). Blade is heavily worn, however, decent overall condition for age.
