US Randall Model 1 8″ Fighter 1940s – Named . DWU1100

United States Randal Model 1 8-inch Fighter Knife. From information from the author of the book on Allied Military Blades of the World Wars this one is approximately 1942-1949 era with brass pommel nut and washer. Brass hilt with Aluminum pommel. The knife has the maker mark of: Randall Made Orlando, Fla. on the blade. Named on blade to: James C. Bidwell (I have not found information on this individual yet, potential research project). Blade length approximately 8 inches. Blade has a bit of corrosion stains, especially on one side, very worn and used knife. Non-standard sheath that fits the knife very well, has quite a bit of wear to sheath. Overall, very worn condition.
