WW2 German Police Dress Bayonet w/Frog and Portepee . D971

WW2 German Police Dress Bayonet. Dress version without the bayonet slot. Blade is marker marked on one side of the ricasso with the Weyersberg Solingen knights head logo and marked on the other side of the ricasso with Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie Solingen mark. Also, marked on the cross guard G.Tr. 4106. Blade fittings with a lot of wear to plating and corrosion to the pommel area with a lot of the plating worn away from the top of the pommel. Sheath in decent condition and has leather frog and portepee in okay shape. Blade with some wear to plating, graying, and spotting, especially near tip area. The blade length approximately 13 inches, overall length is about 17 1/2 inches. Overall, very worn condition with quite a bit of wear to the plated fittings, especially the pommel area and tip of scabbard.
