WW2 German RLB Officer 2nd Model Dagger . D946

WW2 German RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) 2nd Model Leader’s (Officer) Dagger. Blade is in very heavily worn condition with a lot of graying, spotting, and heavy wear and edge nick on portion of blade.  I do not see any marker logos on blade. Blade still has blue leather washer. A lot of wear to silver-plated cross guard, hilt, and scabbard fittings (especially the lower scabbard fitting with a lot of heavy wear and corrosion damage). Dark blue Moroccan leather on handle and scabbard. The scabbard leather is a little “puffy” not sure if from improper storage or is the leather was redone on the scabbard, also, missing scabbard screw in top section of scabbard. The grip has a 2nd pattern RLB sunburst swaz emblem with a lot of enamel chipping and wear. The blade length is approximately 9 1/4 inches (maybe shortened a little bit). Overall length approximately 14 inches. Overall, a very heavily worn condition RLB Leaders dagger that was most likely improperly stored for quite a while.
