Italian “Blackshirts” MSVN (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale) Model 1925 Dagger. No scabbard. Cruciform blade. Wooden grip in decent condition with brass fasces inlay on each side. The cross guard is marked “MVSN” on one side and serial numbered “D 86” on the other side. The plated fittings have some wear to plating, however, overall decent condition. Blade length is approximately 7 3/4 inches. Worn condition, no scabbard.

Additional Notes: The Model 1925 (M1925) dagger was the first official dress dagger of the MVSN (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale), the Fascist “Blackshirts”. The dagger was replaced in 1937 by the more common M1937 dagger, making the 1925 pattern significantly rarer. It has a cruciform blade with no cutting edge.
