WW2 German SS Service Dagger – RZM 941/37/SS (Eickhorn) . D2116

WW2 German SS Service Dagger. RZM code of: RZM 941/37/SS (for Eickhorn Solingen). Middle period SS Service dagger 1936-38. Blade with graying, wear, and in-and-out marks. Blade has the typical SS motto, “Meine Erhe heisst Treue” or “My Honor is Loyalty”. The black ebony grip is in decent condition with some surface chipping especially near top area with a large surface chipped portion on upper back section. Dagger has a nice-looking nickel-plated eagle and SS roundel. Nickel-alloy (Neusilber) fittings and cross guards with the lower crossguard has Eickhorn work bench number of “5” mark on underside of crossguard. Has steel based anodized/blacken scabbard with some wear and slight indentation on lower back side. Scabbard screws all in place and in good condition and scabbard ball in decent condition. Overall, a nice Eickhorn RZM code SS service dagger.
