WW2 German SS Chained Dagger . D1110cxm

$6,000.00

WW2 German SS Chained Service Dagger Model 1936 Type B2. Dagger blade is not marker which is proper for chained SS daggers. The blade is acid etched “Meine Ehre heist Treue” (My Glory is Fidelity) motto on the blade. You can still make out the cross graining on blade as well, however, does have some wear and typical in-and-out marks, overall, nice condition blade. The black ebony grip is the main issue with this dagger, having several areas of old damage with large chips in several areas, however, the grip is still firm and does not wiggle at all. Also, the nickel cross guard appears to be a SA type with the gruppe mark “Sa”, however, still looks fine on the dagger. The grip eagle is in nice condition, and the roundel enamel is in good condition as well. The anodized (blackened) scabbard is in nice shape with some wear and displays well and all screws still in place. This scabbard has two screws holding the center band. The chain is the Type B2 variation that is nickel-plated steel with closed Wotan’s knot with the tapered upper link. The chain also has the proper machine applied stamped SS proof mark on the back of one of the chain links. The clip also functional as well. Overall, Chained SS Dagger that has grip issues with several old areas of grip damage, however, the rest of the dagger is nice.
