Description
WW2 German SS Service Dagger. Marker marked with the logo for Ernst Pack and Sohn Solingen. Early period dagger 1933-35. Blade with graying, wear, and in-and-out marks. Blade has the typical SS motto, “Meine Erhe heisst Treue” or “My Honor is Loyalty”. The black ebony grip is in decent condition with some surface chipping especially near top area and has a nice-looking nickel-plated eagle and SS roundel and a lacquer type finish over the ebony wood. Nickel-alloy (Neusilber) fittings and cross guards. Has steel based blacken scabbard with a lot of wear and indentations, also, missing one upper scabbard screw and scabbard ball has typical hit to bottom. Overall, a decent condition SS service dagger.
