Additional Notes: The suicide of Emperor Nero in 68 AD caused a short period of civil war in the Roman Empire, where the Emperors Galba, Otho and Vitellius successively rose and fell. Vespasian founded the Flavian dynasty and the construction of the Flavian Amphitheatre, today knows as the Colosseum in Rome began during his reign in 72 AD.
