British Military Medal GV (George V) WW1 for Bravery in the Field. Name impressed along the edge to: 5096 SJT. A. Cliff I/Linc. R. The front (obverse) depicts the leftward facing effigy of King George V and is circumscribed by his name and title, the back (reverse) is inscribed “For Bravery in the Field”, surrounded by a laurel wreath and surmounted by the royal cypher and imperial crown. Worn condition.

 

Additional Notes: Albert Cliff (5096) was a Sergeant of the 1st Battalion in the Lincolnshire Regiment. He is the recipient of the Military Medal, British War Medal, and the Victory Medal.
