Swedish M1896 Mauser Bayonet. Bright finished blade with a narrow central fuller. The ricasso has the Swedish maker’s trademark of a C with a crown (Carl Gustaf factory). The reverse side has a crown with the serial number: 077. Blade length approximately 8 3/4 inches. Worn condition.

Additional Notes: The Swedish M1896 Bayonet, made for the Swedish Mauser Model 1896, and also used with the m1938 Short Rifle and AG42b Ljungmann self-loading rifle. The blade is typically marked on the ricasso with the Swedish inspection mark, and the reverse is often stamped with a number and a crown above. The handle is hollow with a pull catch.
