United States Army M7 Bayonet. Bayonet marker marked U.S. M7 BOC under cross guard. Blade in good overall condition. Scabbard is marked U.S. M8A1 PWH. Approximately 6 3/4 inch blade. Vietnam era bayonet. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The M7 bayonet was used by the U.S. Military for the M16 rifle. The M7 bayonet can also be used with the M4 carbine as well as many other assault rifles, carbines and combat shotguns. The M7 bayonet can also be used as a fighting knife and/or utility tool.
The U.S. M8A1 PWH scabbard (for the maker of Pennsylvania Working Home for the Blind), was typically produced around 1965-1969.
