WW1 German Model 1916 (M16) Combat Helmet. 3-Pad Leather Liner still in place, however, no pillows pads. Size and marker marked DBN64 (for the maker of Deutsche Stahlhelmwerke, Berlin) on side inner rim. Overall, a nice-looking WW1 Combat Helmet with liner.

Additional Notes: The M1916 Stahlhelm was Germany’s first steel combat helmet, introduced in 1916 to replace the spiked Pickelhaube, which offered little protection against shrapnel and bullets. The DBN64 marking indicates the helmet was manufactured by Deutsche Stahlhelmwerke, Berlin (DBN) in a size 64 shell, meaning it was designed for a medium-to-large head size.
