United States WW2 Western L77 Commando Fighting Knife. Wartime Bakelite pommel. Stacked leather grip with black, red, and white spacers at top and bottom of grip and has a steel guard. Decent condition bright blade. Marked on the blade ricasso: Western, Boulder, Colo. Pat.No.1,967,479. This one does not have the standard ww2 sheath for the L77, however, this sheath does fit the knife well, appears to be most likely a later sheath most likely for some other similar knife, fits knife very well and snap even snaps and fits well to knife. Blade length approximately 6 3/4 inches and overall, about 11 inches. Overall, decent with nice condition blade.
