WW2 German NSKK Dagger – Merten Solingen . D1101

$780.00

WW2 German NSKK Dagger. Blade is marker marked with the logo for the Aug. Merten Ww Solingen on one side and acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto on other side. Hardwood handle in decent condition with a couple of hairline cracks near lower section of grip and has nice condition nickel grip eagle insert. The top pommel nut appears to have some hits to it like someone used as a hammer perhaps. Cross guard marked on back with the Motor Gruppe mark “Ho” for Hochland and is marked way to one side which you typically see for Hockland Motor group marks. Scabbard finish is pretty much mostly worn away (probably from someone’s attempt to clean scabbard). Also, scabbard ball has slight ding, however, overall fairly decent. All 4 scabbard screws present. Blade in average condition with some graying and the typical in and out marks, however, you can still make out a decent portion of the cross graining. Overall, a decent looking NSKK dagger.
