WW2 German Panzer Rgt 35 NCO Waffenrock . U588

$1,400.00

WW2 German Army Panzer NCO Waffenrock (M35 Dress Tunic). Eight button front. Feldwebel’s panzer shoulder boards with numeral cyphers “35”. Army Panzer NCO collar tabs. Nice NCO/Officer flat-wire tunic eagle on front that is hand stitched applied. Nice single set of award loops on front of tunic for badge. Issue tunic with inside lining nicely manufacturer, size, and depot acceptance stamped on interior with E.39 (for acceptance stamp at the Erfurt Clothing Depot in 1939). Overall nice condition that displays very well.

Additional Notes: The WW2 Wehrmacht form of the Waffenrock was issued in 1935, it was a formfitting thigh-length eight button tunic of fine feldgrau wool, without any external pockets. The collar was taller than the service tunic and bore more elaborate Litzen, embroidered all in silver-white and mounted on Waffenfarbe backing; smaller Ärmelpatten, similar in appearance to Litzen, appeared under the buttons on the dark-green Swedish cuffs. Waffenfarbe piping also edged the collar, cuffs, front closure, and scalloped rear vent.
